FAQ

Straight answers to the questions homeowners actually ask.

How much does a new roof cost?

Cost depends on square footage, pitch, material, tear-off, decking condition, and code upgrades. For most Southern California homes, a full asphalt shingle re-roof ranges from the mid-teens into the low $30,000s, with tile and metal running higher. We provide a firm, itemized written estimate after inspection — no ballpark pressure tactics.

How long does roof replacement take?

Most residential re-roofs are completed in 1–3 days depending on size, pitch, and material. Tile and metal projects may take longer. You'll receive a firm timeline in writing before any work begins.

Do you offer financing?

Yes — we partner with several lenders to offer financing on approved credit, including promotional 0% intro-period programs. Your estimator will walk you through current options.

Can you help with insurance claims?

Yes. We document damage with photos and drone footage, meet your adjuster on site, and manage the claim paperwork end-to-end. You should never navigate a storm claim alone.

Do I need a repair or a full replacement?

Often a targeted repair is the right call — and we'll tell you when it is. If your roof is nearing the end of its lifespan, has widespread damage, or has failed underlayment, replacement is usually more cost-effective. We show you photos and explain the trade-offs so you can decide with confidence.

How long will my roof last?

Architectural asphalt shingles typically last 25–30 years in our climate, concrete and clay tile 40–50+ years, and standing-seam metal 40–70 years. Ventilation, underlayment quality, and installation workmanship all significantly affect real-world lifespan.

How do I know if I have storm damage?

Common signs include missing or lifted shingles, granules in gutters, dented flashing or vents, interior water stains, and daylight in the attic. If you suspect damage, don't climb the roof — we'll inspect it for free and document what we find.

What roofing materials do you recommend?

It depends on your home's architecture, budget, HOA requirements, and how long you plan to stay. We install premium asphalt shingle, clay and concrete tile, standing-seam metal, and low-slope systems, and we'll recommend the best fit for your specific situation.

Will you protect my landscaping?

Yes. We tarp landscaping and A/C units, use magnetic sweeps for nails morning and evening, and haul away all debris. Daily cleanup is standard, not an add-on.

How soon can someone inspect my roof?

For non-emergency inspections we typically schedule within a few business days. Active leaks and storm damage are prioritized — often same-day or next-day depending on crew availability.

Are you licensed and insured?

Fully licensed as a California roofing contractor (CSLB License #0000000), bonded, and carrying general liability and workers' comp. We provide certificates before any work begins.

What warranties do you offer?

Every installation includes our 10-year workmanship warranty in addition to the manufacturer's material warranty — often 30–50 years on premium systems, extendable when installed by a certified contractor.
